Men of Valor - Group Mentoring Program
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tennessee Valley & Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity ( Delta Theta Lambda Chapter)
Together, we provide young men ages 13–18 with the guidance, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Rooted in culturally responsive mentorship and strengthened by a network of community partners, Men of Valor is designed to support young men—particularly young men of color—who face systemic barriers to success. Through consistent mentorship, leadership development, and hands‑on learning, participants gain the tools to excel in school, build confidence, and prepare for bright futures.
When We Meet
We meet monthly on the last Saturday of each month from 9am to 11am. Specific meeting dates will be shared when accepted to the program. Year-round programing operates all months with the exception of a July break.
